Really not familiar with this product but it’s beautiful and I love it. If it’s man made like ceasarstone then it will be more durable than the real thing. Example Real marble is beautiful but totally porous vs ceasarstone that’s not .

Hi FHB, the fabrication method you describe is an old process that is not really used any more. These days for Granites and Reconstituted Stone tops we actually miter all the seen edges so there are no joint lines, while still giving you the appearance of a 60mm thick top (or any other thickness you may require).
