Comments (18)Gioenne they are the same as normal tiles which are solid. They are great advantage is I wont have to maintain them as you would for real floorboards for scratches ect.. Highly recommended just need a really good tiler to lay them....See More"Grand Piano" Kitchen Glass Splashback
Comments (18)Sorry Azza I don't have access to a full strength picture of Grand Piano....but why don't you paint up a swatch of Natural white from a sample pot (if you are near Gordon Park, I may even have a sample pot under my house still that I could give you as I have used Natural white elsewhere in my house. Also get a sample of your benchtop colour and cupboard colour and take it done to focus glass designs...and check out the colour both indoors and outdoors to see how they look in extreme of lights (because the lighter colours do vary depending on the light)....If you rang focus design beforehand and explained that one of their previous customers had recommended them on houzz website but that you were locked into the supplier based on who was building the house and would they mind if you just look at the Grand Piano colour in their showroom.......I found them so helpful, I think that they wouldn't mind you popping in to check out a couple of colours in their showroom. It is just a small family business....but had excellent customer service. They tell you whether the colour will achieve the look you are going for or not and that sort of advice is priceless ....the colour I initially wanted to use would have looked awful in my kitchen......See MoreStuck on the splashback!
Comments (9)Colour is so personal . Myself , I actually would keep the existing blue tiles if possible , as opposed to going white . Assuming you aren't going to have colourful appliances on display , white tiles and white walls and white doors and white windows and a stainless range and hood and oak benchtops and floor doesn't get me at all excited ! In fact , look at the pictures . Imagine you aren't changing anything , EXCEPT you have removed the top row of tiles everywhere they don't 'hit' a cupboard , and replaced in a deeper blue , and you almost would have saved $5k ! A bit of a lift , a newer look -- the existing bits all look fine and usable to me ....See MoreTom O
