Your set up is a wonderful use of space. I would take the doors off the entire cupboard. Install new underbench cabinets with bench across the entire wall. Install a built in trough on the left hand side. Keeping your front loader on the right hand side. Or, as per attached photo put cupboard doors only over washing machine area. Install full overhead cabinets, or less cost open shelving, replacing what you have now with neater floating shelves. Paint the entire bathroom/laundry walls. Clean up the entire area, putting out brand new towels when you have a home open. Removing ALL personal items from shower stall and vanity etc. if you install Kaboodle cabinets or ikea cabinets, the cost can be kept down. Paint the floor with concrete paint or tile floor. Will not be much flooring showing if you are installing floor cabinets. It is the neatness and decluttering of space and presentation that will sell the space. It is a good space, do not gut, just make tidy and let the new owners change what they want to.

And it is not a weird laundry in a cupboard, it is often called a EURO laundry, google that and see all the possibilities for your space.

We weren't sure how it would work to have most of the laundry exposed but you've made me feel a little more confident about it!

Did you mean to just paint the floor of the laundry area? Would you try and match with a similar colour to the tile?

Great inspiration from dreamer. There are 100s more pics on Pintrest if you need more to look at. Don’t pull it all out. Unfortunately for sale you need to make the room look like no one lives there. So start emptying everything out now. I’d paint the flooring with a paving paint that matches the tiles. I like everything being behind the door so I’d investigate eight panel bi-folds instead of the four you have. But only update if they are economical (Bunnings). If not I’d consider leaving what’s there and making everything look show home ready. There are also 100s of posts about styling bathrooms and laundries, and styling for sale on Pintrest and the web.

Yes, sorry, wasn’t clear, just paint the laundry floor component to take away the red floor. Yes match with existing tile colour.

I always wanted to keep it behind doors but it adds a real layer of complexity with cupboards bumping into them etc.

It’s a shame that we tidy up and paint our homes for sale....we should do it when we live there and enjoy the home at its best.

Get a new door that folds one way instead of from the middle to each side and just tidy up the area. Get stick on tiles for the Laundry floor that contrasts with the bath area so it defines the two when doors are open. Thats a cheaper option than getting new flooring as your selling you dont want to put too much into it. Paint the room. Put up nicer shelves and if there is space on the side add a pantry shelf cupboard to put your cleaning stuff in so its not out on display. Cleaning products are ugly and can look messy.
