That climber is lovely and I don’t think the wall actually needs anything. I’d consider consider removing the fake shutters and adding wooden trim to make the window frame look more substantial. This painted in white would add something but I’m not convinced you need it.

Thankyou I appreciate your feedback. Always good to have fresh eyes. The climber is magnificent. I like the idea of removing the shutters and putting a wood trim around and painting white to maybe tie that in with the other timberwork.

I agree with bigreader, and just add a group of large white planters,… gorgeous

Before u remove the shutters try painting them white and adding a white railing to the stairs.

I would paint the garage doors white too -- right now you have a dark slab of charcoally greeny grey , with a dark vine on it . Break it up -- see how much sharper the white pergoda looks compared to everything else ?

I too think putting timber frames around the windows and painting them white would break up the starkness of the grey. Just an opinion, but I don't  think the shutters go with this style of house. With white painted garage doors, your house will look great. Agree your creeper is stunning.

Thanks so much for your feedback. When we painted the house we had no white pergola, that has been a recent addition so that might be a new job. I agree witih the shutters not suiting the style of house.
