2 years agoWithout understanding more about the space and what sort of grey you have in mind, it's difficult to know what, if anything, gives him that impression, or perhaps it is his general rule that he advises everyone?
It also depends on what you are actually going for. As long as it is large enough and well laid out enough and with sufficient task lighting to be functional, what is one person's "smaller and dark" is another person's cosy and characterful. Not everyone likes the 'go to' bright white kitchen style.
What do you mean by corner kitchen, is it only along two walls? That might make a difference if it is a corner of a larger room rather than a distinct space.

White grout or grey grout?
Comments (27)Thanks Nicole!! We actually went for white grout too in the end, and stacked them (mid century modern house, we thought it fitted better overall). I agreed with you that I wanted the detail of the tile to shine, not the shape of the tile. We still need to paint the rest of the room, etc., but I'm pleased. We had them sealed and used a supposedly more stain resistant grout (Davco Colour Elite). We loved the designs so much we put the 150mm blue jeans version in our pantry!! Thanks again for your reply. It is impossible to make sound recommendations from digital photos as there is so much variation with cameras, screens, natural day light and atificial light.
