2 years agoIt’s hard to explain, the floor is even and all the legs are touching at the same time. But because it’s not flush with the floor and the mermaid shape I can lift it up…..its not rocking back and forth if that makes sense? i just don’t want anything to break and wonder if it should be flush and also how to clean under it?

Comments (229)My house, built in 2003, has purple feature walls in the dining room and 2 bedrooms and green feature walls in 1 bedroom and 2 living areas. That was the fashion then. Comments (44)Hi Joanna We love both! A common misconception we've found with freestanding baths and spas is that they're simply be too heavy to move around for cleaning purposes. To make cleaning manageable, our 100% Australian made baths and spas are manufactured using Gelcoat composite construction which is extremely strong yet not overly heavy (5mm thickness to ensure structural rigidity and increased thermal properties). So one of our baths is typically around the 40-50kg mark which allows most people to easily slide the bath out from the wall for easy cleaning access. Comments (3)I would say this is to short. Your bath should be 150 mm from the wall + 75mm standard splash you are at 225mm. The water would land on the edge /rim of your bath. But do not fret. You could install free standing a timber shelf. Above bath for soaps etc and then have the spout mounted onto this? Or just get a new spout?...See MoreShould I paint my exterior feature wall?
Comments (38)Looks good. Before I read through discussion, I had these thoughts. You could look at painting on the front of the wall only, not in the porch/entranceway area underneath, double strength of main colour. So you could as an option get a test pot of Dulux double Self Destruct or even triple. I would not use Monument, or similar to the roof color as it will disappear into the roof. I also think the front fence would look better painted a stronger colour from your existing but as it seems it has just been painted perhaps you could do that, when and if you liked, to cut down expense. On the Dulux website they also give you colours that look good with Self Destruct. (Picture below). Another option is look towards going bold like a strong blue or blue green. Something like in the picture. That's my feature wall, Resene Billabong. ...or a dirty purple or a blood red. It's starting to get really personal of what your tastes are.
