Do I tile the entire bathroom walls from floor to ceiling?
Comments (2)Depends on height of the ceiling, and size of your room. ceilings up to 2700 tile to ceiling ( replace ceiling, it is not a good look new bathroom with old ceiling, unless featured ceiling, you need to remove cornice, Tile all walls to ceiling, add new cornice for professional look ) Have you thought of feature wall behind basins, same as floor tiles ?...See MoreBathroom floor tile colour - pls help!
Comments (36)Hi Kirsty, could you please advise the colour of your vanity and whether it is a custom made one and if not, could you let me know its name and where you bought it. Also, what is the colour of your floors tiles and where did you get them from. (I have come to the conclusion that charcoal/dark grey tile plus a much lighter grey tile plus white on some walls plus a timber vanity or timber accessories in bathroom , plus white (or close to it) below sink counter top is the way to go for a beautiful bathroom. The trick is figuring out exactly what proportion of each colour to use and where to put them for each particular layout....See MoreBathroom wall tile size for small bathroom: 100x300mm or 300x600m?
Comments (4)also will give illusion of a bigger bathroom if you use bigger tiles ..I used small ones on one wall as feature wall and larger ones on other walls .....See MoreBathroom tiles - run floor tiles up one or all walls in shower?
Comments (8)It can either look really dramatic or too dark, depending on the size of the room as well as your other components. I've attached a couple of images of our work using dark tiles, the smaller bathroom we have surrounded the bath with dark tiles but then balance it with an extra large mirror to bounce the light around the room. The larger bathroom we have taken the floor colour way onto the wall but used a different texture on the walls for drama. Hopefully this gives you more of an idea but you shouldn't to nervous of the room being dark, it's where you can create a contrast as well as textures. Look forward to seeing what you go with in the end....See MoreAus Joinery Kitchens Pty Ltd
