What is a 4BHK? Personal choice always, but painted feature walls are not a thing anymore. Use artwork for a feature and paint the walls all the same colour, throughout your home.

I would use a warm white paint for the entire home. Dulux white on white or natural white. It will contrast wonderfully against the tiles and timber floors.

Thanks wise people for showing me other perspectives! How about Snowy mountain for the entire house? Our kitchen cupboards is a black and hog bristle quarter combination. So going for a warm neutral is my thought instead of pure white. Any inputs?

Snowy Mountains is lovely.  It works well in our darker original part of house and lighter extension.

Now that you have used Snowy Mountains, can have first hand experience info from you. Is there a grey shade that it emits out?

Other colours on my mind:

Royal beige, royal beige quarter, Light rice, Antique white USA... The house is well ventilated and lot of light coming through living area for the entire day.

Snowy mountains is a warm white so will work with your jarrah timber floors and beige tiles. We painted our entire home in snowy mountains and was perfect, no grey was emitted. We did this all before selling our home and looked great. Picture attached.

The other colours you have mentioned are all a creamy beige colour which would look fine, but not as fresh as Dulux snowy mountain. You have a beige tile already, and hog bristle cabinets, I would not be adding more beige, that is now a bit old fashioned. But it is all personal choice. I’m glad you are not painting every room a different colour. That just makes a home look disconnected. Add colour to the rooms with artwork that can be any colour, and removed easily when you and the kids change your mind.

This is an example of a home with all different coloured walls. Not to my taste. But does always depend on personal choice.

I hope you won't mind me suggesting that referring to number of beds and bathrooms is probably a more informative descriptor. Typically it is understood there is a kitchen and a living space. A hall would be taken to mean a corridor. So for a 4 bedroom house the variables are whether it has an ensuite or more rarely two ensuites or sometimes an additional powder room. '4 bed 2 bath' type of thing.

Did some googling. The BHK, is not an Australian term, therefore I had no idea what it meant. I have since found this, I assume it’s an Indian description for units. Not used for Australian homes. Best to use Australian terms in Australia, however i'm never to old to learn new things.

Sinned is a very strong word. As I said previously it is a term I am not familiar with, but have looked it up, and now have learnt what it means.

It's not a problem Deepthi Rao, it was just puzzling. I know from experience that sometimes differences in terminology hinders progress and sometimes sharing explanations helps. It's always interesting to learn more. Thanks for finding that Dreamer.
