I think more info is helpful. For example I'd be happy with that size but questions that occur to me include does the climate allow for using the pool for a good part of the year or would it be sacrificing garden for something only used for a small part of the year, and how would that size pool sit in the space by which I mean does that leave room around the edge for paving and planting giving it aesthetic appeal even when not in use or would it look shoehorned in against a boundary fence with the visual appeal of an institutional exercise facility?
Does the pool company not have any pics of other installations they've done?
I'm with Macyjean -- start at the start . Why do you want a pool -- to train olympic swimmers , to cool down , or to look trendy ? Will a spa be better ? A water feature ? Some lawn ? Pools look good , but take maintanence , so will you use it ? The fact you are asking I am guessing you don't really know , so rewind and work out what you want , not what you think will look trendy or fill in some space or because your friend has one .
