The Dulux Stepney is a nice grey and would look great with the trim in Dulux Lecicon, you could paint the lower timber in Dulux Raku or Domino to ground the home. Grab some sample pots and try a few boards and some trim areas to get a feel before you purchase the paint for your complete home. Browse some of the exteriors in the Houzz photo's area. Thank you so much everyone for taking the time to respond. Your first photo siriuskey is the colour scheme I'd love to go with so good to hear that you'd think it would match with the blonde brick. I also like the shale grey roof idea butterflyroof and you're right that you don't see much of the roof at all (mainly when looking out the upstairs bedrooms). The olive green is definitely another possibility to look at oklouise and I've made a note to use 'mid-century' in search terms. Definitely plan to pressure clean bricks and a bit relieved to hear that leaving them is the better option. I'm still finding it hard to imagine a darker grey cladding like monument with the blonde brick debluc but it's certainly been suggested a few times so I'll keep searching for inspiration. Thanks again :) (attached is a photo of a house near us that I like and that has a brownish tinge to the cladding that would hopefully work with our bricks as it seems to work with their sandstone - maybe dune colourbond?)

A couple of comments have noted the front 'blue' pole is not an 'architectural feature', which, 100% agreed, on it's own it's not really. However, it's not the only 'blue' pole or current 'blue' highlight feature! For understanding / reference, here's a couple of pictures of out the back. There is an 'upper deck' off the back and a 'lower deck' (these pictures taken as the new lower timber deck was completed) which have the 'blue' poles and highlights: Another angle of the back, which also shows the 'side' deck area which also has the 'blue' poles and highlight: And, for understanding, here's another angle of the side deck looking back into the yard: We like how the 'blue' sort of 'cascades' down off the roof ATM, and have therefore been looking at using the same 'style' by replacing the 'blue' with Windspray. Also, FWIW, we have also been debating the use of 'white' in the color scheme. As some of you have noted, the 'poles' or 'window trim' or even the 'fascia' could be white to give some contrast to the Surfmist cladding. It's not out of the running as yet! But, we do like the 'blue' and feel we'll like the "cascade" of Windspray. We've tried the Wattyl virtual painter but it doesn't seem to like our roof angle and will not 'paint' the roof! So, ATM we're looking at running it through photoshop, or since we have other renovation plans in mind, we've been playing around with drawing it up in SketchUp. We managed to find all the colorbond colours in Hex, RGB, CYMK etc so we can dial in the colors in any software.

Dont rely on google images, they are heavily edited and inaccurate, definately order swatches for accurate comparison. Below is a photo of Dulux Elements powder coating swatches which I have in my office - in the photo you can see (and from my own perspective of this colour) up close Surfmist is definately not 'white' but search the images on the web and yes it looks white (FYI first colour is 'Basalt', second colour 'Surfmist', third colour 'Black' and fourth colour 'Monument') Below also is one of my company's recent projects, chairs in Surfmist and tables in Monument, but looking at the image you'd swear it was 'white and black'. Before you decide Id suggest getting the actual powder coat swatches from Dulux which you can order via their website and then you can compare them and decide. Note: Colorbond Surfmist / Monument and Dulux are the same tone. Good luck!
