Does Houzz offer mediation services and/or guidance if we find a builder has blatantly ripped us, and others, off? How can we contact other subscribers who‘ve also been cheated so we link in a class action? Pics are months ago, we’ve been dumped.

Sorry it posted before I finished. You can start with the Master Builders Association and Consumer Affairs in your State. Both have dispute procedure. The sad problem that even if the builder is at fault and you receive a judgment in your favour, recovering any money is difficult. The builder can declare bankruptcy and you’re left out of pocket.

Thx, we currently with https://www.dbdrv.vic.gov.au/ and confident, builder started well but clearly has ’problems’ inclding refusing to communicate or mediate - I guess he will read this - to be clear we were 120% happy till after initial deposit - then all downhill at a great rate tainted with his clear mis-truths
