Has anything be had experience with replacing there doors/panels but keeping existing cabinet carcass?
I’m thinking/ looking into kaboodle. Just wondering how hard the replacement is?
It is doable. But depends on the size of the existing doors and drawers. Kaboodle etc come in standard sizes. So if they match with your existing sizes, then yes. Otherwise you will have to use their “cut to measure” option which is available on certain profiles. I don’t know whether that is available on drawers.
Cost out the process, it may be cheaper to by a new vanity. Though recycling is better.
Sliding doors vs bi-fold doors — how do they stack up?
Stacker doors or bifold doors?
Fixed Panel Skylights
Architectural Solid “S” Panelling
What don’t you like about the doors/drawers? You have existing kick boards and side panels that you also need to consider and match. I think when you do the figures on replacement fronts and labour you’ll find that an equivalent new vanity will be cheaper.
The laminate is discolouring. I am looking into possibly painting the cabinet to give a new lease on life/ putting on new handles. I still want to change out the top though and the sink. Hoping I can get the top off without damaging the tiled splashback and get a replacement bench top. I’m thinking it may have to be laminate as the gap to the tiles is 30ml.
