Dimensions of room and window and door placement sketch would help greatly in recommendations for cabinetry.

Are you keeping the top loading washer? Are the walls asbestos? If so either gut or minimise change to walls so keeping dryer on floor?. Looks like you will need some tall storage and some bench space and cupboards as well as keeping space to set up clothes rack. Do you want to keep existing sinks and cabinet, maybe painting doors? Do you want to keep hooks or store things in cubicles, open shelves or cupboards?
You need to work all this out

Not a sketcher so to the best of my abilities have drawn up the room with measurements. The room is a equal box.

Also the top washer and dryer will be staying. The walls are not asbestos. Existing sink and cabinets will be removed as we don’t like the look of it. Some open shelves would be nice but mostly prefer all with doors to hid the mess. Hooks can also be removed but love the idea of a clothing rail/rack.

Your room is a lovely big room for a laundry. There are so many possibilities. Only thing is to consider where plumbing is located already, and the angle ceiling when installing cabinets. Be creative and enjoy.

Your laundry suits a Laundry Mudroom and because of the 3 doors the following has an Island, a bench seat with shoe storage under plus shelf/hanging hooks above. plus a linen storage cabinet.

Washer and dryer are stacked with a single laundry sink and plenty of benchtop for folding.

Siriuskey, the top load washer is staying. Therefore can’t be stacked. Plenty of room for dryer to be on floor.

Wrong word used, dyer is on the wall above the top loading washing machine which is a common way to fit these two appliances, there used to be an American coupled unit that worked which I had when OS.

I’m confused as to why there is 3 doors. I would close off access from dining. But if this is a hallway then I’d look at creating a hall to zone off spaces

My suggestion, refer inspiration photo. Note drying rail above washer and dryer. And overhead cabinets for more storage. With the sloping ceiling you could install bottom cabinets in top right hand corner and a drying rail along each wall above cupboards, attached to overhead cabinets.

My suggested colours would be white cabinets with timber benches. Maybe brass handles to link with floor. Or something like the following picture with black handles. You could add a large outdoor /indoor floor rug to cover the tiles if you wish.

Working with Rachels posted details, which says limited budget, 2 doors and an opening between the laundry and Dining rooms which is at the end of a nib wall which is part paneled. and keeping floor tiles. As per my first layout which works with power points and plumbing access will keep costs to a minimal.

If more funds were available I would replace the Nib wall with a full height wall with a doorway to separate the laundry from the dining room, keeping the laundry mudroom as one space with exterior access and another door which we know nothing about. A drying rail across the window between the washer and the tall storage would be great for hanging freshly washed shirts etc.

When you say a limited budget. What does that mean? Is it $500, or $3000 dollars. IKEA wardrobes are a great way to install laundry wall cupboards with out the custom cost, but with a nice profile front. You can purchase shelving individually and design your own storage system. Kaboodle is also another good alternative for the laundry.

Looks good CP and yes you can save a lot of money by using Ikea or Bunnings Kaboodle cabinets and benchtops.

Because you have a top opening washer and a smaller dryer I would hang the dryer on the wall above the machine and duct it our through the wall. Fischer and Paykel used to have both of these kits. By doing this will give you more cabinet space with a possible broom cabinet and a hanging space across in front of the window. I have added an island which could be done at a later time when funds are available, it doesn't need to be fixed to the floor as it will be heavy enough to stay in place
