Hi there,
I am seeking some exterior colour scheme recommendations for my little weatherboard cottage which was built in 1950. Earlier this year I relocated this home from the eastern suburbs of Melbourne to a lovely quaint town located within the Hepburn Shire.
Notes:
Roof:
Recently updated.
Flashings, valleys, ridge capping, and guttering - all new and in Colorbond Windspray
Corrugated iron roof sheets have recently been updated with a treatment of dulux acratex roof membrane also in Windspray.
Timber Fascia:
Parts of the new timber fascia have been painted in Haymes Modesty White, however can be easily repainted.
Windows:
Double glazed, uPVC casements in a warm white shade. Similar to Haymes Modesty White.
These windows cannot be painted.
Solar Panels:
To be installed shortly to front and back roofs.
Colour - Jet black - no grid pattern shows.
Landscaping:
Timber painted fence to front - please advise on style and colour.
Semi circular driveway to front of house - gravel toppings
Old red bricks to be re-purposed in garden and as a driveway edging
Orientation:
My home faces west and really lights up in the late afternoon sun.
I am looking for a scheme that is a real show stopper! Elegant, classy, yet funky and out there as well. I am open to left of field suggestions. I do like the greys, however I don't really like following trends, I like to be ahead of them!
Photos attached.
Thanking everyone in advance.
