Comments (6)hi its sally think you need colour in your room try to pull the colour of your wall into new cushions and rug and maybe new curtains they will soften the room make it feel cosy some more pics on the walls would help plenty of great products around just look on the net to do your home work first ,need are rug first of try to find one with a colour close to the rug not patterned just texture then cushions that are patterned I love colour I am not a grey,beige or plain person need to take that leap make sure you can exchange the items if your not happy with them hope I was some help sally ....See MorePowder room decor
Comments (24)Is the ceiling cavity above the bathroom available or does it have living space or similar above it? If it is free I would most certainly recommend a "solar tube" type solution - that is going to full your room with natural light during the day. As you have rectangular tiles that are off centre from the vanity, I would go with a large square mirror with a silver frame and I love the back lighting of the mirror as was suggested by another person but is this possible now that you have completed your tiling. Alternatively you may wish to go with a cabinet / mirror to allow for more storage of smaller bathroom items that you use daily....See Morebest powder room layout- urgent advice!!
Comments (19)What height does the window start? You need to make sure that there will be enough height for a mirror so that a tall person can see their head in the mirror. We had a similar dilemma wth a window above the vanity but the window is quite high. Here is a pic....... Comments (16)I used to have room like that , I had a long wall tiled in darker mosaic tiles with lots of brass and silver in it to reflect the light, and round mirror directly opposite the doorway so there is a reflection of yourself or something else behind you. I had light fitted with motion sensor so as soon as you open the door, light comes on, that was a great hit with visitors. Try to have light and fan in one for obvious reason, you don’t have a window. You don’t have to tile the whole wall, you can tile just the middle section behind the mirror and paint the rest in the same colour . Possibilities are endless....See Moredavincicalbourne
