If the existing vanity has a window above it isit ok to have the mirror on the side wall or should the vanity be shifted to have the mirror directly above it? thanks everyone feedback welcome
Install a concertina mirror so it can be accessed above the vanity for brushing teeth or makeup. And install of full or half mirror on the wall next to vanity for other uses. Refer photos attached. Ergonomically a side mirror would not be advisable.
If you have the space, Julia, a cabinet maker or builder could create a slide in / slide out mirror. Similar idea to dog or baby gates that slide into walls. Alternatively, one on a television like swivel or cupboard door like hinge would work. Double sided it would work in both positions
