Looks good, its hard to give suggestions as he would have taken into account what you need. Personally I wouldnt bother with seating at the island, or if I was to have seating I would put those two cupboards at each end facing the other way as I like symmetry. I also would swap the pantry and fridge around because thats my preference because its at the end and fruit is in a fridge and chips and junk is in a pantry. Being lazy I go for what is closer when stepping into a room. I also would put my cutlery and utensil drawer close to the dishwasher because Im lazy. Each to their own.
We have dishwasher next to a bank of three long 900mm drawers. I can unstack directly from the dishwasher into crockery, glassware & utensils drawers. Agree with previous about having fridge on the end so kids can get drinks and snacks without coming in to the kitchen. A pull out bin system at the end of the island is super handy, you can have it open for rubbish/recycling as you prep for dinner. Other pros is easy to empty and use as regular bin for the rest of the house without people moving in to the kitchen space. Led lighting under your overhead cabinetry is cost effective to put in and looks beautiful, giving soft light washing down the splashback- can’t be retrofitted.
