I had the same problem too. I rang Dulux and had a paint consultant come in. I have chosen the white exchange full strength throughout the double story house as we have a lot of natural light with vivd white ceilings and WA white doors and trims. The bedrooms I have 1/2 strength white exchange with vivd white ceilings. I wanted my white kitchen to pop with the wall paint colour. Our kitchen cupboards are polar silk white with moose silk contrasting and ice snow bench tops. Hopefully it all blends with the spotted gum floorboards. We have not installed the kitchen yet. I hope it all comes together. Good luck.

We have old Tasmanian Oak floors that are a warm light toffee colour and painted our walls in a slightly cool white (Caspar White Quarter) and to me it jars a bit as it makes the wood look more orangey. I wish I'd done a white with a bit of warmth (though stay away from daggy creamy whites!). Dulux Natural White I think is perfect and I've seen it used a lot and always looks perfect. (Though get Haymes paint, it's much better, the paint shop can mix it up in any brand's colour).

I love the various complimentary colours too . One thing that may be worth a try to really tie it all together would be a concrete or block surround of the yard / driveway tiles , in white or english cream . Your front fence has light mortar , the house walls features light highlights , and the terrace tiles have quite a light tone too -- by adding a small amount of that in the front yard , you'd add some continuity IMO . Pot colour would depend on your roof colour and overall taste -- there are some amazing blue and green glazed 'Eygptian' type ones available , differing sizes and prices , that often have swirls of colour -- or bright yellow or orange if you want them to stand out , while gloss black ( with crisp green leafy plants , or even red leaves ) pots are fairly neutral but also classy . Just my amateur thoughts .

Hi, I don’t know if this helps but in out Reno we did last year we chose lexicon quarter for our walls. I don’t regret it as it suits what we did style wise, and it is a ground floor apartment so needs the extra brightness for reflection - it was previously painted hogbristle and looked really dingy and dark. I agree with the above comment that lexicon is stark. For our new house I’ve gone with Surfmist outside and a warm light grey inside - so two warm tones, but that’s because I wanted a more cozy feel as opposed to a fresh and bright feel. I don’t think it matters on outside vs inside though, I think it really depends on your furnishings and fixtures/floors etc. For example I personally wouldn’t paint my house lexicon if all of my furniture was rich wood and warm tones.
