I have not been able to find the designer of the chair 1stdibs can't help so I search all of there chairs and a couple of other 21st centry furniture places aren't sure I am awaiting to hear from Mary Featherstone to if it's one of there desgins

Hello, I think you need to have some paler furniture in there, to contrast nicely with your darker furniture and make the space feel larger and lighter, and tie the dining area in with the lighter lounge. I'd recommend the following chairs: The Nico (two for $429). The Edel (two for $299). The Zola (two for $389). As for your buffet, this is the perfect place to introduce some colour, through a beautiful vase, a lovely piece of artwork and perhaps some family pictures. Good luck decorating- it's a wonderful place with heaps of potential :)

I have some 60s TV chairs that recline, I love them because they are a bit retro and suit my dodgy back. I had them reupholstered at the very exorbitant cost of $500 each! They are now a fabric I love but, as someone else pointed out, went from squashy and comfortable to hard foam. I'm spending a lot of time sitting in them to soften them up ;) Also one of them had a higher back, which fitted my 6ft partner, but when they came back they were all the same height. My fault as I should have talked it through with the upholsterer. I would do it again but only for furniture I really love, and I'd be very clear about what I wanted. On another note, we had 2 club chairs made for us more than 20 years ago - we love love them and they will be good as new for a long time. It was way better than reupholstering 2 old club chairs.

Hi again not sure what your budget is but these cushions are lovely great colour range and textures the brand is eadie just google them send you some pics of mine the others found in opp shops and put feather inserts in them love cushions
