Hi Kirsty, could you please advise the colour of your vanity and whether it is a custom made one and if not, could you let me know its name and where you bought it. Also, what is the colour of your floors tiles and where did you get them from. (I have come to the conclusion that charcoal/dark grey tile plus a much lighter grey tile plus white on some walls plus a timber vanity or timber accessories in bathroom , plus white (or close to it) below sink counter top is the way to go for a beautiful bathroom. The trick is figuring out exactly what proportion of each colour to use and where to put them for each particular layout.

Thanks for the input! do you think that subway or 6x6 tiles would be better in the shower? Im not sure why but i was thinking that the 6x6 might be more consistent with the style of the basin. Dark blue or light blue for the accent tile in niche? Its a VERY small bathroom which was why I was leaning towards white floor. Trying to make it feel bigger. But maybe thats an error. This is the floor tile that I was considering. Too busy? I have to admit I like the dark blue tile of the last photo that Dreamer posted alot but was worried that a dark color would not work in a small space.

before committing to the decoration why not plan for how you use the space..do you need storage for toiletries, towels, cleaning products and toilet paper etc start with the new vanity (with or without wall cabinets) ..you may be able to use a shorter vanity with gaps at either end (as in your photo) to give more a look of free standing furniture..using tiles salvaged from the old vanity to patch the walls..i think the tiles look so much better than altering just one wall for shiplap and you can avoid having to change the tiles elsewhere and focus expenditure on new taps, toilet roll holder, power point covers, light fittings etc

Your ensuite definitely looks like tiles are pink in the original photos. But, then the last photo posted the colour is a greyish, pink. I am sticking with my original choice, and recommend a white vanity top, no veining. You also have white tiles and a white toilet, so this will join those components. Let the vanity back splash be the interest with out competing with another surface.
