Extension and Reno layout/plan help

So grateful for all the people willing to help…many thanks. I recently posted about our Reno in existing area. Was given some valuable feedback in regards to: change corner bath (back to wall free standing), eliminating nook in hallway so doors open straight off hallway, therefore allowing for larger linen or an extra toilet in the bathroom. FYI I am yet to draw this up, haven’t made final decisions….. I would love some feedback on the extension. Hopefully this helps to brainstorm other alterations that might be needed in existing area. So….1st pic is existing floor plan, 2nd is my alterations as well as top level of extension - main bed, retreat, WIR, ensuite, balcony. I’ve hit a brick wall in regards to layout! My desires: his and hers wardrobe would be nice (not essential), laundry chute, bedroom able to be closed off from retreat (double doors?), possibly with the entrance to ensuite and robe from retreat instead of bedroom. Should I allow for entry from bedroom as well??? I do not want a large bedroom, we sleep in here only and have very different schedules. Large walk in shower, seperate toilet(would consider this being off the retreat and not being in the actual bathroom), another bath (I like to bath) Would also like to allow plumbing for potential kitchenette (probably won’t build this initially, just want to have the option available, should one or more kids choose to live with us when older and could take main house). I don’t want this to triumph over robes and ensuite. If the space doesn’t allow, because we could always put in downstairs. Winds are predominantly south easterly - I’d like to have cross flow. 3rd pic is bottom level- oversized garage (one extra large and one large vehicle) extra space for bikes, mudroom, laundry, linen. Prefer to keep all of these aspects. Garage will be 3m high, ideally laundry will go up a few steps, so we don’t have to build a big retaining wall at back entrance of laundry as the block is quite sloped. This also means less stairs to get to laundry from main house. I would also consider swapping first set of stairs (going down) with the mudroom, so it is on existing floor level and closer to kitchen. There are two other garages on property (pic 5 shows view from our front fence.) the first is a man’s shed (need a say more?) and one closest to house we would normally park in but my 15 yr old has chosen this as his bedroom (it has a room at the back). This is where we’d consider putting a mini ensuite once the extension is finished. Currently I’ve allowed 8.7m x 8.7m total area external walls, this is at the max. I’d go 500mm smaller width if possible. My sketches are pretty close to scale but will be a little off. Appreciate any feedback.
