Floor Plan Help - Narrowish master, wir $ ensuite

Looking to extend the main bedroom onto the deck and create a walk in wardrobe and ensuite with a large shower and decent vanity. Looking for the most space efficient options given the door placement is into hall and pretty much is stuck there the whole space will measure 7.5 x 3m for the 3 areas. Curious to see what others think the best configuration would be.

Comments (16)retain as much of the existing walls as possible and for stage 1 suggest stealing enough space from the office to include the window in a combined laundry pantry, keeping the separate front lounge and entry foyer and rearranging the kitchen with meals area and keep the original entry with twin cavity sliding doors and space for wall cabinets keeps some privacy for the entry stage 2 family bathroom, front bedroom and halls and remove storage from small bedrooms to allow for temporary entry doors stage 3 new bed 3, hallway with storage and master suite with extended hip roof stage 4 new laundry, family dining room, widen opning between kitchen and extension improved pantry, extra cabinets and study nook for old dining area and skillion roof then outdoor areas and holiday at home!!...See MoreHelp with Master Bedroom WIR and Ensuite Layout
Comments (12)with north on the bathroom side i suggest that a wide highlight window for the ensuite would give the best light and ventilation without losing privacy and, depending on views, you could have similar highlight windows in the bedroom or swap tall narrow windows from south to north, consider reducing the western windows and/or add sunscreens to the outside and, if this bedroom might be used by aged or disabled it could be worthwhile to add grab rails and walk in showers etc during construction and i've added some ideas for the laundry toilet and some extra storage in the games room...See Moredesign layout help! master, ensuite &WIR
Comments (13)Are you refitting an existing apartment or is this a new build? Can windows and door be changed. Okl plan is heaps better but has diff windows to ensuite and wir. I would even say it is best if you can’t change windows. In heritage buildings they build walls into windows wir doesn’t have to have window. Comments (21)@Kate @oklouise @siriuskey @Lauren Shiels You have all submitted excellent ideas and I truly feel like somewhere in them all, is the perfect use of our space, and the perfect vision for what we'd like to achieve. Standout has been using the angle on the left wall (where current WIR is) as a walkway, rather than the WIR. We hate those angles and would love to minimise their impact on our space. Ideally it would be a more open walkway, but we've only got so much room to move. Kate's idea of the bathroom in the bedroom has us thinking. Also, Lauren's idea of putting in a wall to create a WIR behind the bed has piqued our imagination. We have a builder coming over in a week and you have all helped us with something to show him! Would it be best to keep both sides bifold doors - this is how the upstairs dining area was extended but I’m not sure re: privacy. Its very good for light
