Are aesthetics or functionality the problem? If the table is too big for the room you’ll need to change the room or the table. If you want to keep the table then simple lines in the chairs, a narrow console table with a mirror, natural light if possible, a statement light fitting to draw attention and some artwork to draw the eye. A floor plan and pictures of the space would help with suggestions. No clutter and a coordinated colour scheme help simplify spaces. What colour are the walls and floors?
