Comments (5)Greys and charcoals coming in, forget creams and very pale colours. Textures seem to be the next big thing inside and out. Maybe a mid to dark grey with stone that is a mixture of grey and white for the front portico pillars. Could be stacks tone, stone veneer or tiles that look like stone. Wouldn't go anywhere near timber Windows. They warp, peel, stick together after painting/varnishing and are a maintenance nightmare. Comments (14)I agree w/MB D & D a change to full gable for carport and elimination of small Dutch gables would certainly change the look. I also think porch could be made to feature more prominently. Other than increasing height of its roof, could also consider increasing height of foundation (is it slab?) which would necessitate a couple of steps onto porch/verandah. I know this would increase cost of foundation somewhat, but an idea nonetheless. Our builder suggested that change to our new build, and it did make a positive difference....See Moreany suggestions on what colour to paint the facade?
