I would paint the wall white, and buy a rug to use under the table - maybe jute - ikea have nice jute rugs that aren't too expensive. Are you thinking of painting the skirtings and doors... big job, but I think you'd be amazed at the difference it makes to your space. Personally, I would paint all the timber white! Also art on the walls - one large artwork on the wall to the right, with just a touch of green - similar to the floor green. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Hi, Have you considered a light Oak joinery, those colours would be amazing with a bit of timber. If the room is small, you can use a combination of Oak and White to create a modern vibe. this is probably not the style you are going with but you get the idea. And as per the photo brass is a very current addition to this colour scheme. Best of luck with your project! MKG

Ooh. iI ike the idea of using the green in the niche - would help tie in and integtrate the facing (feature) wall. We're going to stick with a wall faced toilet, but will build out a false wall to the current edge of the bath so that we have an invisible cistern as well as create a void for the niche above. And think you are also right about the continuous bulkhead too. Thank you!

Hi Kieren, a rich, cool sand colour might work. Avoid yellow undertones. I think you’re right to stay away from anything too dark. Or try a pale beige textured rug. Added bonus, it’d be easy to find. A rug that mixes something similar to your couches with a LITTLE bit of green and maybe a bit of blue could also look nice. Accent the room in mid blue too, maybe? Stay in proportion to the room, but go bigger rather than smaller with the rug. Rug retailers will usually lend you a rug so you can try before you buy, which can be useful and some will bring samples to your door. Good luck
