Lovely colours ect. But my question is why is we read article after article on kitchen designs with advice from designers stating never to put a dishwasher in a corner as it is not practical. Articles always state that it should never block access to another cupboard and if possible access from both sides. First thing I noticed in the picture was the dishwasher. As an owner I would not be happy with this design by a professional. But this is just my opinion

The tiles are just so so bland , and look the same in the 2 bathrooms . Everything is on the boring end of the so so generic scale . Basically , there is no character at all IMO . Doing 2 tones of tiles , personally i would have binned those ones , but if you used them , how about going a metre up the wall in that tone , then going a brown or charcoal to the roof ? Maybe a row of subways around the middle to break it . Even subways done vertically , just to add interest ? The vanities look similar to the $199 ones ( including the basin ) I put in rental properties , as do the toilets . Mirrors -- not those ones for me . And the second photo -- I was assuming thats the en-suite , but not sure , looks like the shower has not splash glass ? Both have the vibe of a repurposed pantry . So you can probably guess I'm not a fan . I realise it may be what the customer wanted , or could afford , but it does seem cheap but not so cheerful sorry .

While functional, it lacked the calm and refined presence we envisioned for a design studio. We saw potential in the generous ceiling height, natural light, and prominent corner positioning. During - The Transformation in Progress Turning a former restaurant into a refined interior design studio came with its fair share of challenges and dust! This phase saw the space completely stripped back, with old kitchen equipment and restaurant fittings removed to make way for new plumbing, electrical, and joinery. We worked closely with our trusted trades to reimagine the floor plan, introduce layered lighting, and create zones tailored to how we work. After - Design Studio & Showroom Space Now home to Pearl Interiors, the transformed space reflects the calm, curated tone we bring to all of our projects. The showroom side features a solid timber meeting table surrounded by soft boucle chairs ideal for client presentations and material explorations. Custom cabinetry and a long design bench display our in-progress concepts and material palettes with ease. On the studio side, we created a more structured zone for our internal team - anchored by a custom sculptural round table and contemporary Eames-style chairs. A bespoke fluted glass window offers soft separation from the rest of the space, while a statement chandelier adds a refined touch overhead. Every detail, from the soft lighting to the natural textures underfoot, was considered to make this not just a workspace, but a creative sanctuary.
