The Eaglemont property once housed a traditional residence that lacked modern design and sustainable features, making it inefficient and disconnected from its natural surroundings. The home’s outdated layout restricted natural light and failed to harmonise with the scenic environment of the prestigious Eaglemont neighborhood. As the family grew, they needed a space that embraced both functionality and elegance while promoting an active, nature-connected lifestyle.

Sky Architect Studio transformed the Eaglemont property into the Eaglemont Timber House, an architectural masterpiece that balances contemporary elegance and sustainability. The C-shaped all-timber façade and skillion roof design maximize natural light and outdoor views, while expansive glass walls seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor living. Inside, minimalist aesthetics feature soft oak finishes, dark wood cabinetry, and high-end Gaggenau appliances, creating a welcoming and sophisticated space.

The use of durable Knotwood aluminium timber cladding and passive energy strategies, including solar PV and cross-ventilation, enhance efficiency and reduce maintenance. The home now serves as a sanctuary for family life, offering both communal and private spaces that adapt to evolving needs while fostering a deep connection to nature.
