What do I do with this landscaping mess?

Hi houzzers. Due to significant health issues of a family member, I have to sell my acreage property to move closer to them. I have already over capitalised on the property, because I had been renovating it for me to live in for a long time. The selling agent has told me to stop spending money on the place, and has advised that I just use exisitng plants to plant out both sides of the entry stairs, planting right up to the bitumen driveway. I keep thinking that this is not the most practical option because people may wish to park on the flat area near the road. I love lavender, plus have a heap of lily type plants, plus agapanthas and too many bromeliads to count. I like native plants, but I know that I am not planting for me, but the buyer. I have a heap of mulch from trees that were cut down a year ago. I have considered using decomposed granite closer to the road, and also using rounded rocks and stones somewhere...I have considered lots of things. I am paint the house with a thick textured paint in an offwhite colour or a taupe type colour.

I would really appreciate any design advice that creative Houzzers can provide, because I really struggle when it comes to these types of decisions. Thanks in advance everyone.
