It is a pity that your cars are getting the best room in the house. I would do a furniture mock up for your dining and living area. It looks awkward to furnish. Think about the way you live. I would also look at rejigging the front bedroom ensuite to become a more accessible powder room, especially as your main bathroom has the toilet not separate. I’d think about a “Cosco” hatch into the pantry from the garage. There also doesn’t seem to be a lot of storage. And lastly it will be a trek to get anything from your garage ie mower into your backyard. Where are your hot water and air con units going?

Also consider how you cook. Having the fridge that many steps away would be a problem for me. And the double basins in the ensuite give you very little bench space.

Good work Kate. If the OP can afford it pushing out the back wall another metre would give more space between the living and island. Good point re windows Dreamer, you don’t need full length windows in a bedroom especially being on a corner block will require decent window coverings so expansive windows will be wasted.

Yes I showed 2 vanities. You may prefer a makeup station.. you could access the wir from the bathroom if you want. There are lots of ways to layout the space. I am not an architect or designer. We give ideas here. You need to talk to a local architect that understands the climate as well as factors like road noise. Question why driveway can’t be moved to other road.

It appears that your plan wouldn't allow moving the driveway across to the Eastern road side being on the corner and already having a Truncation to improve safety and visibility. A plan with the driveway along the 14.99 boundary if possible could be a better option taking the driveway further from the corner
