I had polished concrete put in my basement a couple of years ago and it’s held up pretty well. The cost for me ended up being around \$5 a square foot, though that can swing a bit depending on whether you go with a basic matte finish or a higher gloss with stain. I didn’t get too fancy, just a medium gloss, but I’d say the biggest thing is making sure the sealer is done properly, it makes a huge difference in how easy it is to clean and how well it resists marks.
Polished concrete typically costs $3–$12 per sq ft. Basic polish is cheapest, salt & pepper is most popular, and exposed aggregate or decorative finishes cost more. Prices increase if the slab needs repairs or special treatments. “If you need a detailed estimate, feel free to message us.”
