I need to use my existing furniture but feel it’s not laid out properly. (Lots of couch covers out at the moment which are normally put away). I can’t change the position of the tv.
I love the wall colour and all your base furniture is quite nice. It is quite cluttered. I would start with a good tidy and take it from there. The occasional chair squished in the corner could go to another room and the small artworks are in the wrong place. Couch covers are a good idea but they do change the look - consider harmonising them by using one colour.
Agree declutter. It is hard to tell from photos but can the couch closest to table be moved back closer to table. This couch should also be your smallest couch. Smaller couches less would help
Agree with all the wonderful suggestions, change position of dining table, remove chair, add a small desk so that is a designated work area, freeing up dining table , add a mirror above buffet table(Kmart has a large round mirror $32) this would look gorgeous, group together objects in a less asymmetrical look, add your large artwork as inspiration for a gallery type wallwall, this would add a beautiful feature and highlight that large artwork
I would remove the items from front of fridge, it will make a huge difference to the look of your space, have a cupboard door where you can hide all your bills etc from view, declutter kitchen benches and add a centrepiece to your dining table… fabulous floor boards and doing simple things will highlight how gorgeous they are.
