Which of the two layout would make more sense for this office as part of my house extension?
The room was original designated for a gym, but I've found a better place for it(next to pool and sauna). As a result, I thought I'd better make it a proper office since I'm currently using one of the bedroom as office.
I'm not worried about the sun considering where I'll place the desk, there's also will be a 1m aluminum louver extended out right above the window and the adjacent garage(west) roof is about 5m tall.
Construction will start in a few weeks, I'll need to let sparky know where I want the floor GPO(under desk) before slab is poured.
My concern with option 1, window on the side: people coming in can see my screen albeit rarely other people will come in.
My concern with option 2, face window : have to walk pass car to get in the room, potentially bringing in more dirt and dust. And 900mm between car and door might be cramped?
