Hi, a few years back, I renovated my home but didn’t do the deck since it was just 2-3 years old and now it sticks out like a sore thumb. The house is mid-century modern, painted kendell charcoal, and had cedar accents. The biggest prob with the deck is that the awning leaves 2ft of it to be rained on. My options:

Cheap me just wants to build a longer wood awning and maybe just tile over the wood deck

2. I got one bid painting the deck grey and adding trex on the wood flooring

3. I got another bid painting the deck black- which i don‘t like because it makes the deck the accent and not the cedar

What’s the right answer? I need some help. Thanks.
