WE have new stained wood kitchen cabinets. I can't find a beige or brown countertop to go on top of them. Don't want any Grays. Looking for flooring also.
That’s a very broad question. There are so many choices of types of material, colours manufacturers budget, but most important is your personal preferences. If you can’t research online there are display centres to visit in most major tiwns and cities, you can go visit stone suppliers or get and interior designer to help
In Australia, Mineral Surfaces replaced Engineered Stone as it contained Crystalline Silica, which was banned in July 2024. A few mineral surface products: Caesarstone Mineral®, Cosentino Xeron®, Talostone MinQ Zero & Wk Stone Quantum Zero. There are also tons of natural stones in browns, but expect to pay more.
I’d go for a warm, natural look, maybe a creamy or off-white quartz or marble countertop with subtle veins. That keeps it light without going gray. For flooring, stick to medium to light wood tones or warm tiles so it doesn’t clash with the cabinets. Avoid anything too dark or too yellow, it can feel heavy.
