I am trying to design a pool pavilion which will sit well beside our home. We like the look of this Houzz example but it needs a lot of adaptation. On acreage. Area of build falls away to approx 1.8m. Floor area 7x5 approx with 1m eaves.
Are you going to keep the shade over the pool? I would build the pavilion not attached to the house. It’s hard to see from the pic but I’d place it opposite to the house on the other side of the pool.
So that us your existing pool in the top 2 pics and you want to replace shade sail with pavilion at far end of pool. What does the back of your house look like - image. Have you tried uploading image into ChatGPT and asking it?
The shade sail will go. The pavilion will cover the whole area at the end of the pool. The eaves will match the height of the eaves on the house. The gap between the roof on the house & the roof on the pavilion will be about 400mm. While a fire place looks very special on the example the climate here doesn’t really warrant a fire but it isn’t ruled out. I’d like an outdoor stainless steel kitchen on the side closest to the house. I thought maybe smoked glass 1/2 walls along the rear & the end furthest away from the house.
