The original kitchen was functional but felt enclosed and dated. Overhead cabinets dominated the space, making it heavy and restricting light, while older electricals, plumbing, and appliances limited both functionality and efficiency. A structural post and the compact layout further constrained the kitchen, reducing usable space and making it challenging to create a contemporary, open feel.

The full renovation transformed the kitchen into a bright, modern heart of the home. Outdated elements were removed and replaced, with updated electricals, plumbing, and all new appliances. Overhead cabinets were reduced, while a timber post was introduced to conceal an existing support beam, flanked by custom shelving for both practicality and visual appeal. The design features shaker-style doors with a durable polyurethane finish, a 40mm stone benchtop, a beautiful tile splashback, and a canopy range hood. Soft-close fittings and carefully chosen hardware enhance both style and function, while the redesign optimised the existing floor space, creating more usable area and a light, contemporary kitchen perfectly suited for modern living and entertaining.
