To counteract that and have the best of both worlds, being a great entertainment hub for your husband to enjoy the footy etc, answell as a nice lounge that you can unwind in at the same time is do-able. Those two windows are a great feature that keep it cosy, but the window treatment just doesn't work with the rooms main function. A viewing hub. Remove the drapes to the floor and replace with a fitted timber Venetian blind, so you can darken the room or direct. The light as necessary to watch the screen, at the same time can open them up when required, then run a low line timber unit wall to wall under the window, it may need to be made but if it's the only thing tou need to do, and will make such a huge difference, it's worth the cost. Have doors perhaps with mesh inserts so you can house the tv equipment, speakers etc, the tall speakers can fit aside the tv itself, and that way you create a bench across the entire wall for your lamps on one end, some picture frames at the other etc, the timber blinds would tie in your unit, and coffee table, declutter the floor, improve light and best of all, add personality while emphasizing your great theatre....See Moreneed help finding the right pro to hide our TV
Comments (2)The best I can suggest is to speak to a couple of local cabinet makers - you would be surprised by the ideas they have produced for some of their projects. You need to think carefully about what you are trying to achieve and roughly how much you want to spend then start calling. Someone out there will have some great ideas for you, they just need to question asked....See MoreNeed help to put TV in a Living room

They have beautiful speakers built in to the tv as well as apple TV and Netflix. Please give me a call on 9356 8111 if you would like to discuss. David...See MoreNeed help with my tv room
Comments (12)1/ get Roman blinds for the windows installed onto the ceiling.. 2/ change the carpet to floor boards and a nice light rug.. 3/ repaint the room ..looks quite dark and creamy there 4/ get rid of the clutter by getting a built in unit for TV and do away with your tables and coverings 5/ keep the chest/trunk as a coffee table 6/ rearrange your lounge suite into an L shape.. 7/ if you really want to get rid of the lounge suite make it uncomfortable to sit on..I'd put slits into it accidentally lol the dogs fault? lol he'll come around or I'd pretend someone else needed it more than you so gave them away..lol that's how I get to buy new stuff for the apartment ..I slowly stow them to the beach house then from beach house they get given away lol...See More- last month
