The stone is from YDL Stone called Kalala Shan. I wanted caesarstone calacatta nuvo but that would have broken the bank! This one still has that marble look I wanted but it's actually a warm base more off white, goes well with wood and the trouble I am having is which grey to put it with in the bathrooms! I was thinking light grey with off white...where did you get your tile from?

Thank you for some concrete information. Those samples could actually be different batches of the one colour. The flecks and shading are almost identical. Is the new version the low silica option following legislative changes? If so, you’ve been caught up in a change that was beyond the Manufacturers and your control. It would also explain the same name being used, something typically not done because it causes problems. PS you assumed I’m a guy. I’m not but I do have 25+ years of dealing with contracts, vendors and projects. Half my life is spent trying to get suppliers to do things they may not want to do, and it all comes back to the paperwork particularly the disclaimers and exclusions. I can’t see any resolution for you.

Your ensuite definitely looks like tiles are pink in the original photos. But, then the last photo posted the colour is a greyish, pink. I am sticking with my original choice, and recommend a white vanity top, no veining. You also have white tiles and a white toilet, so this will join those components. Let the vanity back splash be the interest with out competing with another surface.

I realise that it only matters if you like it , there are some features I like , but some that i wouldn't want -- just shows we are all different ! The black/charcoal is the right tone , but I am inclined to think there is still too much , although it is 'livable' . Just me , but I guess the biggest 'clash' is the lighter timber . The timber you used is nice in itself , but IMO it doesn't fit in with the floor , and the floor itself I dislike , because of the 2 different directions of the timber ( in fact , it even looks like the 2 floor timbers are different widths , but hard to tell ) but also it is obviously different tones . just my opinion , you either match or you go for contrast -- this does neither . It is similar timber , laid in opposite directions , with the join halfway across the kitchen just to really highlight all the differences . My 'standard' thing too is colour , and that may come via the accessories , and to say it looks bare is unfair -- I'd like to see it when it is accessorised .
