Sorry, it’s behind the chairs. I was trying to show you what I see—not so much the kitchen itself—but I just don’t like how that area looks in the post.”
I agree. The area looks shiny and cold. Instead of warm and inviting. If you like shiny things, I can’t help you, because I prefer natural textures and furnishings. I would re paint the burgundy wall the light colour as other walls. I would remove the mirror and add an artwork. I would remove the kitchen stools and replace with timber and leather stools. I would remove the rug and if needed replace with a natural jute floor rug. I would then add a dining table and chairs that are similar to the chosen kitchen stools.
Add some statement lighting, change stools to compliment the kitchen, paint wall same as other, remove mirror and add bold artwork . Removing the rug will open the area.
Thx Julie. It did come up well but that’s thanks to you too. The AI works better with inspo pics and I used yours. I’m constantly amazed at the big impact of small changes like pendants and art. It’s so handy to be able to visual them.
Hey, I totally get it. Sometimes even small tweaks can make a big difference. You could try adjusting the lighting. Warmer tones really make a space feel cozier. Adding a light-coloured rug or swapping a few little decorations can help too. As for the floor, I’d honestly suggest having a look at the flooring. Ever since we updated ours at home, the whole place just feels way more like a home.
The comments of contributors saying they see a "table" and "can't see the Kitchen" and comments about the Stools, kind of point to the problem but do not really pin-point it, and suggestions don't fix the issue.
I think the problem is the use of the Contrasting Dark (woodgrain?) panels in the Island Back and overheads above the window. The Dark panels are causing Blocks with no definition and fight with the third colour on your feature wall.
In My Opinion the solution would be to remove and replace the Dark Panels with new ones the Match other white ones. This will then stop this Hiding Block effect, give the definition back to you Kitchen and still work with your existing Wall colours. tiles and rug.
