Living room opens to the bathroom

last modified: last month

Hi all. Looking for some advice on how I should reconfigure this bathroom as it opens straight into the living room.

I’m trying to keep the door as is, as it’s too much work (cost) to change it. I’m trying to work out how to hide the toilet from view but my bathroom may end up quite cramped.

Want to get some ideas if I’ve missed a way to do this.

Some layouts I’ve played with:

Photo 1 - Create a second door, turn left and the toilet is behind the war. Shower is next to bath, creating a wet room. I think this will work but seems quite tight. The bathroom door will also be the first door as there won’t be much space to swing the second door with the vanity there.

Photo 2 - Bathroom door opens directly from the living room but using the vanity to hide the toilet which is closer to the window. A lot more space this way

Photo 3 - Bathroom door is the second door, and opens straight. Shower is in the left corner but might have issues with the glass door swing near the vanity.

Have I missed a layout?
