Help with bathroom styling

I’m struggling to find a mirror that fits our renovated bathroom aesthetic. We have gone for mix metals and traditional style. I feel the mirror needs some character but not sure if the studding in this mirror clashes with the style of the taps which are very traditional.

Thoughts on this mirror and if no any suggestions on style?

Can you mount the mirror higher so it sits with the brass lights rather than directly behind the chrome tap.

Hang it on the wall, above your panelling. The mirror is a good choice, it blends wonderfully with the edge detail of the vanity. You are not looking at the mirror in the position it should be, so is distorting the final outcome. I’m sure no one will ever say”the edge of your mirror doesn’t match your taps”. It doesn’t matter, it’s a beautiful mirror.

I love those long floorboards/wood-look tiles and they are the feature so you wouldn't want something too busy on the walls... personally I would go with a larger format say 300x600 rectified edge white tile with a matt finish for the Hamptons look... what's your vanity?... a timber one would tie in nicely with the floors and all the white... very Hamptons :)

We're building 4x3.5 Two with ensuite and the others with a jack and Jill. Life has changed unfortunately and now everyone in the household works, kids stay at home longer and ageing parents sometimes move in for care. At the moment we have a 3 x 1 and really the only thing we really want for is a second toilet, which growing up we had because we had the one out the back with the red backs.

I think stay away from grey, you need towels that pop. Mint and lemon, even fluoro orange (I know, I know, it sounds ghastly) but Aura by Tracie Ellis have a divine range of beautiful geometrics, not block colours. Picture me looking sheepish. And apologetic. I promised house photos and failed to follow through. I’ll start with the bathrooms that gave us such headaches. Again, the biggest and most sincere THANK YOU to everyone for all you help, over a very extended period. I won’t list everyone, but you saved my sanity and gave me such confidence. We really love our new place, it’s warm, light and very functional. Not to everyone’s taste, but what is?, and it very much suits us. I think the taps are and towel rail are wrong. The mirror, vanity and lights work well, agree mountain the mirror as noted above.

Thanks everyone. Yes whatever mirror we choose will be mounted between the lights.

Great suggestions, there are so many gorgeous mirrors to choose from now, you can use the one you have but mounted higher, go traditional or add a modern twist, there are no rules, just whatever you love. You may be able to find a stockist with a view in your space app.
