I have had two suggestions for the design of a tiled shower base, where the tiles are the same across the whole floor and continue into the shower as a base. Would love everyone's thoughts.
The two suggestions are
1) to have the tiles slightly raised in the shower with a metal trim that raises the height of the shower from the rest of the floor.
2) to have a small step created that you have to step over to enter the shower.
Interested in comments on aesthetic and functionality. TIA
