Maybe a gloss light grey subway tile? Glass mosaics can look stunning but there are a lot of grout lines to keep clean, particularly behind the stove.

Congratulations. It's a very stylish kitchen, you have. You could stick with the black and white look and use white tiles, such as small white round mosaics, for a clean look. Search for penny round tiles for ideas. Or if you'd like to add colour, reddish tones would work well. Blue-greens and teals are very popular at the moment but I think they will date. Red is a more classic choice with black and white. We used a dark purple-red glass splashback for this kitchen with Caesarstone Calacatta benches and dark brown and off white laminate. Hi ucheokeke1 colour matching to the tile should be relatively simple as already explained. However even if you find the right paint colour, unless you ask for optically clear glass (known as Starphire glass in Australia) your colour will be skewed by the natural green skew of ordinary glass. If you can source a coloured glass splashback that's close to your chosen colour from a standard range you will be OK with normal glass. If there is nothing similar in a standard range, the only way to ensure true colour representation is to pay the extra for optically clear glass. I hope this makes sense.

We had a guy who printed posters print the photo and stick it on the glass for us (to make sure there were no air bubbles). He delivered it to the glazier who was installing the splashback. There was so much interest as it sat in the showroom, the glazier then started offering glass with pictures actually printed onto them... If your wall was smooth, you could put the 'poster' print onto ther wall as another option.
