Help needed with main bathroom reconfiguration
Comments (8)the problem with rearranging the fixtures is that none of the alternatives leaves enough walking space except the last, which is the same as what you have already first try an automatic door closer and consider a custom vanity with a small drop in sink in a counter that has a narrow section that continues across the top of the toilet and a wall mirror or mirrored medicine cabinet the maximum width of available wall under the windows...widening the counter will be useful and the mirrors and gorgeous new tiles, bath and vanity will help to distract from the view of the toilet...See MoreBigger main bathroom, or smaller w/ a separate powder room...?
Comments (13)No en-suite - not enough room unfortunately! V1 here is additional powder room and V2 is no 2nd loo, just bigger bathroom by removing a wall & fireplace (which I believe is an expensive & challenging task as would need to keep the chimney stack on the outside (it's in a heritage area so limited on what we can do)). Thanks so much!...See Morestuck for ideas best options for main bathroom
Comments (15)Not knowing the dimensions of the room, this is just a concept. Place the shower across the end of the room. Incorporating a waterproofed window in the shower recess. Have a nib wall in shower enclosure, this will give a ledge for your numerous shower products, and allow the vanity to be built flush with that wall to avoid any small gaps that collect dirt. Depending on the length and width of the room either incorporate your linen storage on the same wall as the vanity or add storage on adjacent wall. Remembering the storage for towels etc only needs to be 400mm deep. (Folding towels/linen to fit accordingly)...See MoreBath in main bathroom or ensuite
Comments (3)Generally Just in the bigger room is fine. Young families want a bath for the little ones and equally don’t want a cramped space but if it is a long way from kids bedrooms may be a diff answer. Perhaps share full floor plan...See More- last month
