Which style better suits my Oxford Contemporary Sofa?
Comments (17)Great way to showcase design. Versatility. classic design details, with contemporary finishes. eithout a doubt, each picture reflects a different aesthetic, personally I like image 4, the symmetry, the palette and reference to classical art and architecture. It has an elegance that is still comfortable. I also like image 1 because it looks as though it is the favourite piece in the room, as if it's the owners prized possession and the rooms other pieces were built around it to compliment it. Image two is a little unbelievable to me, too contrived as though it expects to be held in the highest regards, and in this case, although. Great looking, the architecture is not second to it! It doesn't easily steal the spotlight for me. i think image 3 doesn't full fill its potential to make a real statement, but would appeal tithe masses because it is simply lovely to look at. Vanilla. image 4, oozes a sense of luxury and completes a well considered interior setting. Props to the stylist whose placement of complimentary teal with the tainted mustard velvet makes it less neutral, in this shot, the placement is perfect, so it seems to me, the sofa is the standout....See MoreWhich sofa colour suits my carpet.
Comments (11)Hello, I would recommend these sofas from our current collection. They would all be good neutrals that don’t fight the darker carpet, and can be styled up by cushions. Also, we can scotchguard for you to make sure they don’t stain! We also have a 10% discount for our Houzz customers at the moment- use the code CQ4W1D4140....See MoreWhat sort of balustrade would suit the front of our new property
Comments (3)Hi Nicky, great house, you could do glass with a timber trim, very stylish, vertical slats, or metal with a timber trim any of those would compliment your lovely house....See MoreWould modern entry door suit this house?
Comments (6)I think modern would be fine given the location. But I think there should be some nod to it at the front in your landscaping. I'm thinking the traditional pickets should maybe be swapped out for a straight edge style. I'd also think about your paint scheme as it will need to work for both the modern door and the heritage facade....See MoreB
