I need help with window coverings for my bedroom sliding door
Comments (2)I agree with the previous comment re the colour of the curtains and lining properly. Stick to something slightly lighter than the wall colour in a nice cotton or linen blend adding some fullness so when they are open they just clear the glass and frame the doors. I think a heavier rod either in a colour to match the walls or a metallic to compliment the bed frame would work well and I'd lower it slightly. You have plenty of space between the top of the doors and the ceiling so I'd mount the rod approximately half way to give more balance. Good luck....See MoreNeed help with window coverings for my Living Room.
Comments (7)what a lovely room which needs to look the way that makes you happy but you may find that the shutters also get in the way when opened..i wonder how venetians fixed inside the window reveals and directly to the doors would suit? Sheers are gorgeous but i agree the curtain pole doesn't look right: the sheer curtain tops should cover the pole (depending on the track this may only need a different hook to hold the pleats up higher) and as you need something that can be pushed completely out of the way a different pole with proper drawstrings with the curtains tops covering the poles may be the answer: a chat with a specialist who does shutters as well curtains (Spotlight?) should help but i hope you keep the sheers...See MoreNeed help designing lounge room

All the best...See MoreNeed help with living room design
Comments (45)Hi, I have looked at your photos, and with the dark door frames, thought you might like to embrace that colouring? I have attached photo which has colours that are already in your room, that would be difficult to change, ie: door frames. with adding light cushions, rug and artwork, would keep room light. With white shutters on front windows and Painting your dining setting black, as previously suggested. This is completely different to the other colour palette I have previously posted. But, thought I would share my thoughts....See MoreUser
