Bar cabinet needs an update
Comments (3)My recommendation would be to sand back the timber and re-stain in a burgundy or black lacquer. Remove the current curved benchtop with one with squared edges. Replace knobs with modern handles. Replace wooden shelving with glass shelving and behind the shelving on the back panel create a feature but covering in wallpaper. Comments (15)My Home Stylist - I really appreciate your feedback. The Noguchi coffee is really nice. I think I'm getting closer to finalising the colours. I've done my research and found these. Do you think they match? Coffee table I did my research and found something similar to the noguchi coffee table but in white (thought it'll suit the white ikea table). It's aFreedom's Stockholm table . Dining Chairs I really love the chairs with timber legs but I've decided that since my apartment will be occasionally rented out I'll stick with a more conservative look. Dark Grey frabic will match my sofa. The steel........ It's similar to one of the photos on houzz. Bar Stool: Now that I have chosen a dark grey/steel leg dining chairs and an oak based coffee table, would a standard white barstool with steel leg still work well with everything else or is it starting to clash? I found some possible but more expensive options if it's starting to clash:...See MoreBar stools - Need help choosing 1 out of these.......

Also the one on the right is height adjustable & can be set to where individuals feel most comfortable rather than the counter or bar being either too high or too low for their own preference....See MoreI am looking for design ideas for a home bar.
Comments (8)We have a couple of really great ready-made or made to order bars you might like. The first is a first is a fully equipped bar, ready made, but no castors. The second two are moveable bars that can be made to order. The next is a simple bar table that can be made in a variety of sizes and materials, with or without castors. I've included a pic of one of these installed (on client's deck). The last picture is great looking, practical bar with storage, prep and serving space. This can also be custom made and comes on castors so you can move it wherever you need. Let us know if any of these suit....See Morechookchook2
