Ideas for exterior - brick mid-century built home
Comments (43)Australia has nice examples of painted and rendered Art Deco homes. If it was a different kind of brick I would say keep it, but I think painting/rendering would really brighten the place. I love the windows. Although all pics here don't exactly match your style, they are all of that era. As mentioned in above comments, there are mix of landscaping styles that suit from conifer/gravel/grass to cottage rose garden to an Australian native garden. Do what reflects you and how much time you have for your garden....See MoreBefore and after photos of a Townsville cottage
Comments (9)What a dramatic transformation. I love the mix of materials used. So good the stumps could be used internally - they are beautiful. Fabulous job!...See MoreBefore & After: Luxury Bathroom & Powder Room For A Family of Six

Comments (12)I grew up in the '70's and '80's and can tell you, the warm and cozy feel you mentioned made me feel overwhelmed and depressed! Lighting was always dull. Terribly difficult to notice any dirty cupboards as the colour was so dark! I love the new kitchen, and like others wonder if the rest of the house was done in a French Provincial style as the handles seem to intimate? Not that it matters, the owners would be happy and I am sure love working in there now. Good job!...See MoreSamford Homes
