Lounge Room Refresh
Comments (35)Jeepers this room needs help. One of those curved lamps would work well in the corner, or a cluster of small pendants. A round or rectangular table at the left hand end of the sofa with a vase of flowers and framed photographs would give a 'come-hither' appeal. A coffee table with art books and decorative items would be better than the round poof. A complete change in cushion covers to bring the whole place to life and more artwork on the walls. An interesting chair would work well too. Happy thoughts....See MoreRefresh my house
Comments (19)Well I'm going to avoid that first. I'm going to use grout pen to recolour white and 're Mastic or whatever that seal is called between tiles and benchtop. Do worst area. Then I'm going to paint flower pot yellow and focus on balcony. Will take photos soon of how awful it is...See MoreHelp me refresh my rental!
Comments (14)Hi Renee, I like the space and your furniture. Grey monochromes are very soothing, but need some colour for contrast. Some greenery would provide the life to make it all work. Your main problem is access, and the way the furniture is arranged it makes a small space even smaller by creating a skinny passage to the balcony, basically dead space. Here is my suggestion for a more open furniture arrangement. This provides room for a round dining table without eliminating the buffet. I would suggest a round glass coffee table so your beautiful rug remains the defining point of the lounge area. I would keep the TV on the low unit so it won't block too much of the light. That is also a better viewing height when sitting down. A big leaf pot plant alongside would complete that end and tie it all together. You might think about getting rid of the 3 silver sculptures (hear no evil, see no evil...). Purely decorative objects can easily make a small space seem cluttered, and they steal useful unloading surfaces....See MoreGuest room help
Comments (3)Hi , What a fabulous bed, I think some gorgeous new bedding to compliment the bed would look stunning in either white or cream even a pale grey, your bed could handle an ornate cover and look amazing, Bed Bath and Table have some great covers, this could blend in with the wall paper, you could change your shades to lighten the look if needed, you can paint over the wallpaper for a new look if you want a complete change, that would highlight the mirror, could look gorgeous....See Morejulie herbert
