What did you think when you first saw Marsala - Colour Of The Year?
Comments (34)The next time I decorate by a colour of the year will be the first time. Don't hold your breath. I have nothing against this particular colour but it doesn't work with all the things I've collected over the years, and I am not about to discard carpets bought after hard bargaining with dubious merchants in Istanbul or Islamabad because they don't "go" with a paint colour that someone voted "colour of the year." In its place, I think the colour would be quite nice (better than this years choices, certainly). It's just that my place isn't the right place for it....See MoreWhat is the first thing you see in this picture
Comments (61)apparently you have never tried public transport in my hometown. tampa, fl. it is hideous. max I have traveled is about 1.25 hours. worst trip and greatest was the 24 miles from crapo, say crepe o, to cambridge md. I once counted 49 hairpin turns, during that trip. all that on land so flat, you were lucky if it was not underwater....See MoreWhat did you see first?
Comments (36)The lights! Not to my taste... Then the pale timber cabinetry, this is a great alternative to boring laminex! & it looks good with the brushed stainless. I wonder if it would show fingerprints... my greatest bugbear in the kitchen...See MoreLiving room stalemate
Comments (12)if getting white couches get slip covers. ive just spent my Christmas break pulling off white slip covers, washing them and ironing them and putting them back on :( personally I think your room is not big enough for such dark walls, I agree your inspiration room looks lovely but its a big room. ditch the light fitting and get recessed lights. no offence but I cant see the chairs under the window having wow factor. One good thing about your existing furniture is that you can see under the sofa and the chairs and it makes the room appear bigger. I would invest in a very large mirror and cover one wall with it, A big room is more Wow. A good plant or two would cosy up your space.as would a good piece of art....See MoreUser
