Comments (5)I agree with the above. I think the TV will look a little odd with two tall cabinets on either side and nothing underneath. Also, where would you store/hide the DVD player, stereo, cords and whatever other bits and bobs you have for the TV? What were you hoping to achieve with the cabinets? Comments (4)I like the idea of a timber floating cabinet no wider than the TV, which could be purpose built and installed given the wall is brick. Unless you are handy and can do this yourself? I would match the timber to your floor, if possible. I say cabinet instead of shelves because you are wanting to hide the wiring, etc, and a cabinet will do that where a shelf will not. Comments (14)@ann It would be very similar to the one in the picture, with an overall height of 150cm. Cladding is definitely something I considered, maybe white stacked stones or similar.
